If you’re only picking 3 it’s Virginia, Pennsylvania, and New York. And the biggest contributors from Virginia weren’t backwoods mountain men.

Educate Yourself About Who Actually Sent The Redcoats Packing

I never posted that backwoods mountain men were the largest contributors from Virginia. I have studied American History a lot more than you have and I am a direct descendant of a member of South Carolina's Spartan Brigade.

The actual truth, not that written by New England Professors is that with few exceptions the English ran roughshod over the northern colonies for most of the war.

When England shifted the war south and instituted brutal policies such as routinely burning people's house's, they kicked a hornet's nest and got their own arse kicked.
