Anything less than 10 wins is a failure season. Is this consensus of the board?

I can't speak for the board as a whole, but in my opinion, there's just too much uncertainty around the team to really know what to expect.

In theory, having a returning QB would be a huge positive. In reality, Milroe has looked fantastic, and also has looked like a deer in the headlights -- sometimes in the same game (or, heck, even in the same drive). And with a completely new offensive system, we have no idea how he'll respond. So experience at QB is essentially nullified.

We're pretty darn good on the DL and LB, but replacing our entire secondary raises a huge question. We've got some experience, and some young talented players, but with essentially no continuity from a coaching or playing standpoint, there's no way to know how we'll respond.

Overall, offensively, I have hopes we'll be better, simply because of DeBoer's background and experience. But my hope is tempered by his lack of exposure to SEC-level defenses on a regular basis. How will he and his system handle the week-in / week-out grind of the SEC?

If you put a gun to my head, I'd say we COULD win 10 games in 2024, but I don't really expect it. I would be disappointed if we weren't in the 12-team playoff, but I wouldn't be completely shocked.
