I have no interest in rehashing the Jalen Hurts situation or bashing a great Bama guy.

Daboll was getting guys open and wanted the best QB to play. It’s not his responsibility to force a project RPO QB to become a championship level QB when a future top 5 pick is sitting on the bench ready to unlock the entire playbook and the 4 future 1st rd WRs who were waiting in the wings.

Daboll wasn’t the best we’ve had but he sure was better than the stats because of the situation he was put in and the constraints he had on him during his time here.
