What is the evidence that there was no plan? Just because many guys went after money, or left because Saban was gone, doesn't mean there was no plan.
I cannot be convinced that Saban and brass had a plan for his retirement.

You can’t just do it on a whim in this day and age.

Lawson and Booker and them should have known days before, been able to rally the boys, meet with NIL people, and all that shite before Saban just up and retired.

The roster was not made a priority until after the retirement and everything was reactionary after that. This should have been a massive effort to keep the team together with a plan for the future……….then the announcement.

Texas was throwing Lamborghinis at guys hours after Saban retired.

Y’all really don’t think a better plan would have had the entire Alabama program ready for the chaos that was coming?

Does Bond still leave? Sure, maybe. But I think more stay if there is a better plan and if everyone was ready instead of IMMEDIATELY starting the 30 day portal with everyone freaking out.

You think there was a plan in place?

"I cannot be convinced that Saban and brass had a plan for his retirement."

"We were very flippant with the energy we put in to keeping this roster when that’s the most important thing in this sport."

So not really an evidence thing?
Just a feeling you get based on the players who have left?
If so, fair enough to have that opinion I guess.

(I guess I could ask for evidence of the flippancy, but what's the point? Folks believe what folks want to believe.)
