My only memories of bad times were me rolling around the living room as a little kid wondering why my dad was always so mad at this weird sport. By the time I was old enough to get into it we had some talent and decent seasons and there was hope.

Then Saban when I was a teenager and life has been great ever since

I’m very much looking forward to the new era.

FWIW, I'm an old fart. I was already in Grad school at UA before Stallings was hired. I was at Legion Field for Coach Stallings' first game......

Its Funny to think how long its been that we've had the GOAT, but most 20-somethings likely don't even REMEMBER Alabama football struggling. I DON'T expect us to "Struggle" under DeBoer!!! But its also naive to "Assume" there won't be at last some drop-off, at least at first.

And yea, I'm looking forward to the next chapter.
