I know this has been abundantly clear for a while, but the powers that be don't GAF about the average fan anymore. Think about being, let's say for example a texas fan, and having to fly to pasadena, Miami, and Altanta in a 3 week stretch. Not to mention a 1st round game if you're playing in one of those.

It's just not feasible anymroe for a regular joe to do that. And I'm sure the pepole in charge say "and? We don't give a frick" as long as the money is pouring in hand over fist. But it's just really annoying to see the sport erode into an NFL product.

If post-season attendance was a concern, we wouldn't have 64 bowl games. It's all about TV revenue.

The main problem is that people keep watching college football in spite of all the things they've changed about it in order to maximize revenues. TV timeouts are a prime example. Also, every time they want to shorten the average broadcast length, they cut out game time instead of commercial time.

They don't care about the fans because they don't need to. The fans are going to consume the product no matter how fricked up they make it.

Empty stadiums? No matter, just don't show the stands on TV.
