Yea there’s not gonna be a year three if CKD can’t finish in the top 12 in either of his first two years. 8-4, 9-3 gets coaches fired at Alabama. He inherited the top program in the country. This is not a rebuilding job and if it turns into one that means we hired the wrong coach

Did you just drop down from Mars and land on your head?

We’re in the midst of an almost complete overhaul of the program minus some key missing pieces, and the task of learning new O and D systems. This year and probably a good portion of next year will be a rebuilding process.

Why should it be a rebuilding year with all of the talent CKD inherited? I like CKD and expect him to do well here. I’m not on board with the low expectations the sunshine pumpers on this board are trying to set. Alabama fans won’t and shouldn’t accept mediocrity.

I don’t think you understand what rebuilding means. Coaches would kill to have the talent DeBoer is walking into.

It’s completely fair to temper expectations and I agree that’s a good way to look at it but you guys are acting like we lost our entire 2 deep.

This team was a Natty contender before Nick left. Top 3 team coming into 2024. We’ve lost 3 or 4 starters to the portal so far. That’s not enough to suddenly shift us to “rebuilding” mode.
