Personally I think he is as pissed as we are, and is hunkered down with a whiteboard in his new office figuring out a long game way of scamming this fricked up system.

He was very clear he wasn't ready to walk away. Just couldn't do it at the level he wanted. This would be a new challenge. Its not far fetched to believe as long as he is not interfering with the new staff.
