Coach’s pay will only escalate, so if NIL continues down its current path, the facilities will definitely suffer or ticket prices will have be set at levels that makes attendance exclusive to the affluent. The dynamic will probably be a little of both.

So will there be a decrease in capacity?

There are not 50,000 affluent football fans per team.
You can price it out of reach for your core audience.

I quit going to live games because they make it almost a job to sort out the logistics of going to a game. I enjoy football, but driving 3.5 hours to bake in the sun in September is not a value for me. A metal bench? No seat back, no cup holder?

When capacity contracts, maybe the in stadium experience will be premium.
