If Kylo doesn’t start fast with Saban’s players it’s a REALLY bad sign

They should be in the final 4 at absolute worst the first 2-3 years with Saban’s players and program still intact. We already know Kylo isn’t a great recruiter so if he can’t hit the ground running it’s going to look really, really bad.

I’m not sure how we know he isn’t a good recruiter.

He’s a good ball coach. Good news is he won’t have Penix or the two WR’s

His UW classes were worse than what they were used to

What was Kelly's average recruiting class ranking at Cincy?

Completely disagree. If this was pre-transfer NIL portal, I would agree. However now that guys can transfer immediately, teams go through so much change every year and Bama will look much different than they did last year. All that being said, it may take him a year or 2 to bring it back but he is a very good coach and this next year shouldn’t change that fact in Bama fans minds.

We dont, Saban didnt land top classes at Mich St, Urban didnt pull top classes at Utah and Kelly's classes at Cincy were in the 100s
Ppl are just running with their own dumb narratives

If all he can do with Saban’s players is top 12 that’s a huge underachievement

He just came from Washington

Top 12 is playoffs. That's the goal every year. Anything after that is luck.

The team he took to an undefeated season, won a Playoff game and went to the NCG with a 3 star QB he made into a Heisman finalist.
Your point?

Thanks for keeping tabs, please make sure you and Byrne and Saban pow wow every few weeks to discuss his progress.

Bunch of one score games that went his way with a lucky transfer QB
If he can’t take Saban’s players and win big immediately that’s a huge problem.

But according to LSU, Auburn and UGA fans we won’t have Saban’s players so this whole thread is silly

Lots of Bama fans were very concerned circa 2005-2007 telling us how Les only won because of Saban’s players. How is this different? Shouldn’t Kylo’s standard be to at least match Les’ 34-6 in those first 3 years?

A transfer QB who was a 3 star recruit that never threw for more than 1,700 yards in 4 yr before going to Wash? Sounds like he coached that boy up. Back to back 4k seasons and a Heisman finalist
