You can’t really argue the PNW is the reason for poor recruiting while Oregon has pulled in top 10 classes pretty much yearly.

I would say that Oregon has had it's own advantages compared to other West Coast teams in the past several years.
Having Nike there is a game changer.

Recruiting success is mostly about the money you put into it. I'm not making a bag man joke but NIL opportunities are a factor now too. Oregon runs a recruiting operation more in line with the competitive Big Ten and SEC programs. Oregon is regularly reaching out into Texas and Florida. It simply takes money to run a national recruiting operation and Oregon has the financial backing to do it.

I can tell you that UDub football just is not a big deal in Seattle. They're more worried about bringing back the Supersonics as an NBA franchise.
