Any Bama fan with money or influence is old enough to remember the days of DuBose, Shula, Fran, etc. We are not firing anyone over a 10-2 or 9-3 season in the SEC. Be competitive against the best teams in the conference, make a 12 team playoff at least half the time, and we are happy.

Alabama is one of the programs that ESPN essentially gives lots of advertising to everyday.

Alabama had good players even pre-Saban.
They’ll get good players going forward.

As a top 5 revenues program, they have advantages that Washington can’t fathom.

Could boosters screw it up?

I guess so, but I would not bet against this guy doing an admirable job.
