They knew they needed to put boards or concrete blocks under the bottom of the jack, but didn't have any. Apparently they were never taught that books are made from wood. After letting them struggle for 30 minutes or so, I brought a piece of card board and 3 hard back technical books. Set the jack on top of the books on top of the cardboard and lifted the car. Auburn grads..
