Thank you Coach Saban for everything you contributed to the university, the football program and the state of an Alabama. You stayed much longer and won more than I ever expected. Actually found my student ticket the other day from your first game as the coach of Bama!

I have found that if someone who isn't a player or employee of a university refers to a Coach as "Coach X" instead of just one or both of his names then that person is usually somewhat limited in knowledge and may tend to be a bit of a sycophant
And yes, this trend is most prevalent with Bama fans
