To replace Saban when he retires? Carroll is 72, same age Saban is.

Pete Carroll was a DC his entire career up until USC. Basically same career as saban in terms of leading up to his big time coaching break.

Man some ppl have a hard time understanding what being realistic means…Pete Carroll isn’t coming to Alabama to be a freaking college DC dude. We’d have a better shot getting Belicheck.
It’s already been reported he’s saying with the organization as an advisor. Even if not he’s a west coast guy. He could probably get another open NFL gig if he wanted.
