NOT the same thing.
Auburn did win the SEC by winning the tournament.
Tennessee did win the SEC by winning the regular season.
I personally, along with most others, think the regular season champion is the most prestigious.
That doesn't make the OP's title wrong.
Imagine crying over such semantics.
