How did the SEC office gift Texas such an easy schedule?

It's actually two (Georgia & Oklahoma).. but here is my analysis of the schedule and I think it mostly boils down to 1 game.

Tennessee or Vanderbilt

Here is the way the schedule was created for all teams

Pick 1
Texas or Oklahoma

Pick 3
Alabama, Auburn, Georgia, Florida, LSU, Texas A&M

Pick 4
Everyone else

So here is the Texas Schedule

Pick 1
Oklahoma

Pick 3
Texas A&M (rivalry) or LSU
Georgia or Alabama (we just played Alabama)
Florida or Auburn (flip a coin)

Pick 4
Arkansas (rivalry) or Missouri
Kentucky or South Carolina (flip a coin)
Miss State or Ole Miss (flip a coin)
Vanderbilt or Tennessee (flip a coin)

We probably should be playing Tennessee instead of Vanderbilt because Ole Miss & Missouri are better than Arkansas and Mississippi State, but this is the thought process that I think they used to create it.

Either way, it would balance out if we played the opposite side in 2025, but that is still tbd.
