We should have, we had a bad game and we didn't deserve to make the playoff.
Doesn't mean UGA wouldn't have beaten Michigan. Transitive property doesn't work for college football. UGA matched up better with Michigan than they did with Bama. THey'd likely have been favored in such a matchup. I feel like it's not a stretch to say Michigan would have a harder time beating UGA than any other team in college football this season.
Doesn't mean they deserved to make the playoff. They didn't. This year required a conference championship.
