Alabama continues to recruit well according to the services, so yeah, it is weird. I still think having the first pass at talent is preferable to having to recruit them on limited eligibility timers.

Fit is imperative for transfers. They're looking for a place where they can come in and start. Many are looking at how well you can help them get to the NFL too. Do you run a scheme that features their skills well.

No. With NIL leveling the playing field and making bag men obsolete, the quality programs will do well and the snake oil salesman will move along. Recruiting is more fun than it’s been in a long time.

As of today, Saturday, Texas has room for 4 transfers, w/ 3 of those committed. Another 0-5 may enter the transfer portal.

Of the 2023 recruits, ~ 75% are early enrollees and will be on campus next week and will go through spring practice.

Identifying the right guys w/ the commitment to graduate early, and not the prima donna’s, matters.
