2018 was the year the NCAA added an additional position coach. Saban went and got Jalen a dedicated QB coach outside of the OC. He went and hired Dan Enos who worked exclusively with Jalen all off season and in- season on his mechanics and reads.

Jalen developed in 2018 as a redshirt year. He was a totally different player from his two seasons prior.

He would've have been able to do so in 2016 if Blake Barnett wasn't mentally fragile.

Instead Jalen won the job after the USC game and didn't get a chance to learn how to be a QB until 2018.

This is well known. Are you a casual l?

I'm not following you.

Jalen never got better as a starter. He road the bench his last year and flashed in the 4th quarter of the SEC championship game.

How does that prove what I'm saying is wrong.

As for going and getting a QB coach. DO IT. RIGHT NOW.
