Did you miss Jalen Hurts in 2018 vs UGA in the SEC title game? That was the same Hurts OU got and the same guy in the NFL. He worked on his game and transcended to the player he is today at Alabama in his final year here.

That was the only important playing time he saw that year. What about the 3 years before. What about comparing freshman Jalen to Jalen against GA in the NC game. Little if any development.
He doubled his passing yards an Okalhoma and was the Heisman runnerup.

Yeah people really downplay the progress he made in 2018 before the left Bama.
The reality is he improved in 2018 at Bama. Further got better at OU. And also had a lot of good coaching in his first 2 years in the NFL to turn him into what he is today
