Nix, Penix, Daniels - all transfers

Having 2-3 years out of a transfer QB is obviously preferable.

That's fair, but one of the things said about the portal was that it was gonna even the playing field. You could point to Washington, though historically they have been a CFB power.

I haven't seen this incredible shift in balance so far. LSU is a have school, so that's actually making things worse if you are a have not. Especially when they are getting a Daniels from a have not.

Same with Georgia taking Mizzou's second best and MSU's best WR. The Georgias, Alabamas, LSUs aren't taking the guys Colorado did with Deion. They are essentially letting the haven nots be their farm system, showing them a player is good they may have not have evaluated correctly in high school. That doesnt seem to be evening the playing field but making it worse. Georgia just took Vandy's best WR. Alabama took GT's best RB last year. Looks like rich getting richer to me.

Agree. You could say it is leveling out the top 30 or so while creating a larger gap between those teams and everyone else.

Also, GA taking Lovett was a gift in hindsight as he was replaced almost immediately by a team leader in Theo Wease who apparently made the whole room better.
