Even Joe needed a year to be what he was. He was fine his first year and I guess compared to what had been playing the position, really good. But no one could see his senior year coming, and that includes LSU fans. But most fans are expecting huge improvement by their team based on these players and I'm seeing as much or more disappointment as satisfaction.

It seems like most QB transfer don’t hit their stride until the 2nd year of the transfer. Caleb Williams won a heisman is in his first year but he also did it with same coach he had before.
