I agree. Texas is, at best, 5th in the SEC in regards to what they have been the last two decades. Alabama, LSU, Georgia, and Oklahoma are without a doubt ahead of them and one could make an argument for Florida as well. No one lives off preseason rankings and expectations like the Longwhorns.

Texas finished ahead of its preseason rankings each of the last 2 seasons.
Alabama will finish at or below its preseason rankings each of the last 3 seasons
