It is when you have teams like Tennessee who have had to play UGA and ALA every single year, year in and year out, and then you have the rest of the scrubs who almost NEVER had to play both.

Until you have an equal divisional schedule, like in the NFL, then yes it is that difficult.

Its not difficult it is impossible. Winning the Big10 MOST years is slightly to significantly easier than winning the SEC. Winning the ACC is ALWAYS significantly easier than winning either and winning the Big12 will be anyone's guess but it looks like it might be easier than winning the ACC. The PAC 12 is no more and whatever becomes of that wont even be in the same league as the ACC. Add in that after the FSU debacle the ACC is on life support and CFB is reaching for the plug. There is simply no way to continue to keep the Vandys and even the South Carolina's in the same league as the Ohio States and Texas'....its too big to pretend any longer. Its a shame but its going to happen. At some point the Mississippi State's are going to be in a different league and playing on Thursdays, Fridays and early and LATE Saturdays while the Alabamas and Oklahomas play in prime time on Saturday.

Another BEAUTIFUL thing about say a 36 team league is 36 teams can agree to some governing body that can limit transfers to some extent and regulate tampering and recruiting and the like. All pro leagues more or less play by the same rules...it will be the same for the super league of CFB. You may transfer from a Tennessee to a North Carolina State without any hinderance but going from UGA to USC can be regulated if every team agrees.

That would be an upside.
