And I'm not sure who else would hire Caddy. We got him early. I guess we will find out if he has a successful coaching career after this but this question just can't be answered yet. What I do know is the RB group ain't the problem and it ain't been the problem since 2019 or whenever he was hired.

that's what boggles my mind about some of ours. The most productive position group, with our O as a whole, and let's get rid of the coach. This is why we will always be "Auburn doing Auburn things".

It's not hard finding dependability from Alston, Cobb, Jarquez, etc. Caddy is failing at recruiting.

Auburn doesnt have a rich history of passing offense. The passing offense performing less spectacular than the rushing offense doesn't mean shite for the rushing offense. We are a 7 loss team and performed like it in every phase of the game. The rushing offense was our best reprieve against some shitty teams but that is literally what Auburn has been built to do for decades. But that doesnt mean it is worth holding over. We probably wont be running the ball as much, but that doesnt mean Caddy can just keep providing mediocre RBs. I actually disagree that the RBs have been productive. RB position accounted for maybe 1600 yards this season between all RBs combined. QBs accounted for 700+ rushing yards and 1,800 passing yards. Auburn also averaged over 5 ypc in 2022. So last season was rather poor.

It amazes me how little common sense some people have.

I'm sure you said all of this when I was begging for Harsin to be fired while you knighting for Harsin up until the Penn State game.
