We're back to the longstanding Alabama tradition where the backup is the favorite QB.
I'm not going to say Milroe won't have any competition, but I don't think it's a coincidence that his struggles were in games where the line played horribly. To say that Milroe will have to be the one to improve to keep his spot is a crazy thing to say.
I feel very comfortable going into next season with Milroe behind a much better center. And if Sayin blows the staff away or Simpson has an incredible off-season and wins the job from him, then we should be getting some top-notch, Heisman-level play from the quarterback position.

I just want to know what was going on in practice that allowed Buchner to be ahead of Simpson??

Probably wishful thinking there unless we get lucky. Can't help but remember Bryce didn't struggle much fielding snaps from Seth. Sure, there were a few that bounced before getting to Milroe, but there were also several that weren't great, but should have been caught and weren't.

I'm in complete agreement with all of the above!
