WRs were not good in 2022 with a Heisman Trophy winner. They lacked the ability to get early separation consistently, so Alabama had to run more deep overs and similar long developing crossing routes to let them just out-athlete many DBs they played.

I don't think Saban pushed him out. He was one of Saban's best primary recruiters. With that said, if the recruiting game is going to be about NIL bags then maybe it is better to let the money talk and focus on good coaching from the staff.
