Dabo. What has Kiffin won exactly? The Peach bowl. A lot of recency bias in this thread.

By that logic Mack Brown, Shrimp Boat Ed, and Gene Chizik would all be better options as well since they've won championships in the past. Dabo's recruiting practices are not viable anymore. Clemson will continue to have some success with the relatively narrow class of kids their style of program appeals to, but if you won't push NIL or recruit the portal to at least address immediate needs you're not going to compete for championships. If you're cool with that (having a competitive, but not championship caliber, program where guys stick around for 3/4 years even as backups like it was 20 years ago) then that's fine, but I think Dabo would wear out his welcome after about 3 years of 8-9 win seasons and leave behind a roster that is significantly worse than how he found it.

Dabo likely would’ve won 4 NC’s if not for Saban and Alabama barely beating them twice in the NC game.

The coaches you mentioned won one fluke NC because they had generational QBs. Nothing about any of Dabo’s 2 NC’s or his 4 NC game appearances were a fluke.
