The narrative around Kelly is he'll get you 9 to 11 win seasons regularly but not bring home hardware. So far, so good.
The SEC might luck out if y'all got someone really bad as a replacement, but with LSU resources the odds are better you'd find a young, hungry coach that gets you back to winning championships.
Kelly staying is the better bet if you compete directly with LSU.
