Very first game I ever attended was in 1986. We played Temple. They had a Heisman candidate named Paul Palmer and, of course, we had our own Heisman candidate in Bobby Humphrey.
Paul Palmer had big game but wasn't enough to get the upset.
We sat about 20 rows up from the field and I could walk down close enough to see all my favorite players. To a 12 year old boy, they were all heros and larger than life.

The 36-0 beat down of little brother in ‘08….came home on mid-tour from an Iraq deployment…hadn’t beat them in several years. My wife surprised me with tickets…so much fun and may have been the loudest crowd I’ve ever heard!!
