I am all for supporting Napier next year, but if it becomes apparent things aren't getting turned around come October or November, to hope we cut bait. 2024 is the year of cautious optimism for me, where this year I felt like I was recklessly thinking we would make huge strides.

I wish Sasse would go ahead and make some moves on the Stricklin now though so we are ready to move fast if things aren't working out. I honestly think an AD move would be huge for the entire athletic program. Let Sasse go after a few top candidates who refuse to come in with Foley's crew still running things and hopefully that will initiate some larger, more productive conversations about the UAA.

We cut bait with Zook after he went 23-14. Napper is 11-12 . You think he’s going to get 23 wins before he gets 14 loses? I don’t. We were dying to see Zook go, Billy is worse.
