As if we care about recruiting prowess when kids basically are signing for the NIL check and the possibility at a playoff spot and a higher draft position.
The game has completely changed.
We need guys who can coach talent and can create gameplans, execute them well with playcalling and make adjustments in game to get us the edge for victory.

I agree that things have changed with the NIL and the portal becoming a game of musical chairs… but I don’t think position coaches have much impact on play-calling. They are primarily responsible for player development and recruiting
