Pretentiousness? Buddy you have no idea what's coming in UT/OU. Sure there are a lot of Aggies with visions of grandeur that year over year get a little overzealous in their convictions. But most Aggies remember our history and are desperate to break thru that glass ceiling. Can you blame a school like A&M with its resources and fan support. We are long overdue. 1998 for anything meaningful was forever ago.

And yes modern A&M does have resource advantages likely over 80% of the conference. But that's also frustrating. It doesn't always equal success. And it just got harder with our horn brethren now back in the fold. In fact I'd wager only UT can easily outmuscle A&M... and every SEC school in resources.

I don't think I've ever heard A&M considered pretentious. Let me introduce you to the burnt orange steers.

"We are national champions because we have great resources and fan support," has never been said by any championship program.
