similar to when we cut O. sucks at the time but best thing for the program in the long run

Lol it is not similar. We got the GOAT Natty out of it. They got NOTHING. They will have paid him over 100 MILLION with the extension. 100. MILLION. No titles. No playoffs. Nothing but a gutted roster. It’s not like a new staff is going to come in and get all that talent to produce because they were only there for the money and now they are all leaving. Is this the norm now for when a coach is fired in tge NIL era? Complete roster turnover? How is all of this sustainable. All of this is leading to less development, sub par football.

How is the roster gutted?

Gilbert - kind of slow, and sucked at tackling
Chappell - replaced with a quality CB from KSU (team player)
Overton - this one is a loss
Nolen - talented but he's going to the highest bidder
Lost a couple of backup OL. Seriously, losing OL is the last thing to worry about. The OL was TERRIBLE.
Lost a backup QB ... who cares. We still have the more dynamic third string and the starter
Lost his brother - still have plenty of TE's to choose from
And Stewart STILL hasn't gone in the portal. Will be interesting to watch

Still a few upcoming NFL decisions

We lead for a great portal WR to replace Anias. Another CB, and a LB from Oregon State. I'm okay with getting an actual coach and replacing these kids ... we are still DEEP on the DL. And a good OL coach is the best part of this deal.
