Your administration 100% panicked. They saw Texas and OU coming into the conference with two coaches who look like they have those programs headed in the right direction and pushed the panic button without a plan in place to replace Jimbo. The Stoops fiasco is evidence of that. Elko might prove to be a good HC but it was absolutely a panic move.
