I just watched an explanation/apology video from Radi where it basically said that Georgia had a deal in place for Caleb Downs for about 500K and Downs and his family agreed to it, and then at about 8 p.m. that night he changed his mind and toook the deal from Ohio State for a little more than 1 million.
Radi said it shocked the shite out of everybody in the football department and the NIL department and even the President's office.

Wonder if we had the opportunity to match the offer or at least come closer. This would be one of those situations I’d be ok with giving more since he’s a proven all American caliber player and has 2 years left.
