No one is melting. He’s a great player and no objections to him winning the Heisman.
I will say it’s hard to remember a lot of other Heisman winners with so little hardware. No conference titles. No playoff berths. No National Championships.

That's only because you're so young.
Way back in 2016 Lamar Jackson, the Louisville QB, was awarded the Heisman Trophy after his team finished the regular season 9-3, including losing the last two games of the season against Houston and Kentucky. Louisville would go on to lose the Citrus Bowl against LSU, 29-9. Louisville won no conference, divisional, or national championship that year, they just happened to have the most dynamic player on college football that year.
