Yeah.

Because we are paying a crap ton to our upperclass defensive line who is not as good as 2022 and 2021.

We are paying a crap ton to our wide receivers (who are almost all upper classmen and who are better as a group than our 2022 and 2021 squad).

I could go on and on about other position groups.
I would hope that you get the point.

We have a competitive collective that pays all players a lot of money. Note: all players.
But the significant money is coming in years 2 and 3. I don't know how many ways I can say the word retention.

Have a link to the spreadsheet of what all the players are receiving?

No.

I'd guess that the collective is paying about $7k per month for 10 months on the year.
On the team, that's what you are getting.

I'd guess top recruits NIL $50k to $150k based on their position.

That is the sales pitch to kids.
You will be coached harder than anywhere else in the country.
You will be prepared to make your best effort to make NFL money.
And you will be more comfortable financially than you have ever been in your life.

But the big payouts go to the best players. You have to earn it. And if you are working your way to the NFL, you will. We rotate players who are ready to play more than any other SEC team (it is how we build depth for Dec/Jan. It is how we reload after the NFL draft).

If you want the highest bidder out of high school, we are not your college.
We are the key to your best opportunity for the NFL though.

Retention bids probably average 6 figures.
Top players (Brock Bowers, Stetson, etc..) hit 7 figures.
