Yeah.

Because we are paying a crap ton to our upperclass defensive line who is not as good as 2022 and 2021.

We are paying a crap ton to our wide receivers (who are almost all upper classmen and who are better as a group than our 2022 and 2021 squad).

I could go on and on about other position groups.
I would hope that you get the point.

We have a competitive collective that pays all players a lot of money. Note: all players.
But the significant money is coming in years 2 and 3. I don't know how many ways I can say the word retention.

Georgia NIL money

This list shows that a third of Georgia's top 21 NIL earners are freshmen, and an 8th was Smoke Bouie (transfer). If this is accurate, your entire premise is bullshite.
