I wonder how far he would have gotten.
Watching the replay, there are no Auburn players within 10 yards of him ,plus our # 52 guard was 8 yards downfield that could help with blocking. I'd imagine Milroe could have at least made it to the 10 yard line.

I think he’s easily inside the 10. I also think we lose on the subsequent shorter throw.

If you watch this Youtube video, it shows the view from behind him and the field is basically wide open, and like you said, 52 is down there to block.
Crazy sequence of plays that ultimately worked out.
Also, interesting that it was Jalen's 2 such penalty of the game. My guy needs a little better field position awareness.
