Brookhaven seems to be considered one of the great areas of Atlanta, ITP, in this thread, from what I've read.

So I look up statistics.

I compare to my closest town of Grayson GA.

In Brookhaven, the "good" part of ATL:
Violent Crime: 4.43/1000

In Grayson, widely considered to be "going downhill"
Violent Crime: 1.28/1000

So the "good" part of Atlanta ITP has triple the violent crime rate.

Let me look up property crime, BRB...

Property Crime:

Brookhaven, the "nice" part of ATL:

26.08/1000

Grayson, the "going downhill fast" suburb:

7.69/1000

So more than 3x more likely to be a victim of a property crime in Brookhaven, the nicer part of ATL, than in a suburb.

Dang....

Brookhaven is completely safe and I would much rather live there than anywhere in Gwinnett County which seems to be trending towards a third world country with all the illegal immigrants that live there now.
