Atlanta isn't a perfect city but it is far and away better, safer, and has more going for it economically than Birmingham or New Orleans. I think Birmingham per capita has more murders than even New Orleans now. People are actually moving to the city of Atlanta where Birmingham has been bleeding population for years now.
