While he is not your future. I think y’all need to wait till after next year to fire him. I don’t think you want to bring in a brand new coach with the schedule you have in 2024.

Surely you don’t want to start a new coach off with this? And this will give the powers to be at UF all the ammo they need to fire Sunbelt Billy if he goes 2-10.

No I don’t believe we should fire him why so we can hire someone get mad we aren't in the playoffs then fire him hire a new guy same old revolving door as a long time gator fan I will say this we should really give him another year not the knee jerk bs we have been doing the last 13 years

I agree, I'm not sure you want to toss a first year head coach into that deep end of the pool.
We are in the opposite boat, our schedule, by our standards, is fairly manageable next year... so naturally instead of bringing in a new HC we are keeping one that we will likely fire and our next HC will have to face the season from hell the year after.

Holy shite. Next year will be glorious. Something like 3-9 is extremely plausible. 2-10 isn’t out the window

This win isn’t guaranteed anymore. Samford is one of the better FCS programs and put up a 50 burger (in a loss) on Florida a couple of years ago.
