Elko is a solid hire.

You get him for cheap, he has head coaching experience, and you likely get to retain ERob and a lot of talent.

He's also already familiar with how things work in College Station so less of a learning curve.

Curious to see if he brings Santucci along as DC or promotes ERob.

Now A&M claims they pulled the offer to try and save face because a Kentucky football coach rejecting your job offer is a serious mark against any program.

I doubt that. Very bad institution to coach at. Great money but to many chiefs .

That is if that story is even true.

Because IF it is, it explains why nobody in their right minds want to go to that death certificate.

I guess you didn’t see where Mark Stoops publicly stated tamu was trying to hire him and he told them to pound sand.

Congrats on Elko. His 9-7 record in the ACC is very impressive.
