I don't see it that way. Not at all.

This doesn't mean Kentucky is suddenly a better football program than A&M. Kentucky simply is not. Now, it might mean - maybe - that Mark Stoops and A&M both pulled back from this thing at the 11th hour and realized it wasn't a good fit for either side. If so, that would show a level of maturity and self awareness rarely seen from either coaches or ADs.

I'd like to know two things that I'll never know - what happened at the Kentucky coaches meeting when they got back to Lexington yesterday. And what happened when the AD had to start calling the board of regents about this.

Baw, despite your disappointment, Stoops is here till Iowa opens up. We all know what happened, Marrow told Stoops he was a fricking idiot for wanting to leave Lexington.
