Twenty-five members of the Dawgs who have played during the streak have been selected in the NFL draft. The 25 players selected in the 2022 and 2023 drafts are the most for one team in a two-year span in the common draft era (1966 to present).

If you're the parent of a highly rated recruit, this is a HUGE selling point. And to boot, Kirby has managed to get these guys to the NFL without constant playing time like a lot of other programs will try to sell to recruits.

You come in and you practice hard, you compete for playing time, and even when you win, you may not see the field on every down. We don't build 'stars', we build highly-trained, selfless football machines who know how to win on the biggest stages.

Granted, NIL certainly plays a role but, if I were a parent who truly thought their kid was NFL-bound, UGA has the proven track record to make that a reality.

ETA: Great notes, Rex. Thanks!
