Great season isn't translating to recruiting success. Class is in the 40's. Anyone know of any good buzz before early signing day? Please share.

May have a smaller HS target list for 24 and plans to hit the portal hard for immediate contributors.

Rankings are highly skewed by raw high school numbers. Drink goes for a relatively few high value high schoolers, then fills out the roster from the portal.

A lot of transfers coming in too. Drink will try to get a veteran starting RB and maybe 1-2 portal OL.
On defense, Im thinking about 5-7 portal players at this point.

Drink said they are being very selective with the HS recruiting. Whether that's true (hopefully) or just spin remains to be seen. As others have said I think he knows he has a senior laden team and will try to replace many of them through the portal.

Portal makes more sense for the team that we will have next year. Offense will be T25 at least, so plug in an experienced defense and be ranked again next year
