But let's not ignore the fact that all 3 of UGA's biggest rivals have been in the gutter the last 3 years

You mean like Auburn, LSU and Tennessee?

and really no east team outside of UT last year and Mizzou this year has really been worth a shite either.
Remind us who is really, really tough in the West again? Ole Miss?
As for last year... you mean the Tennessee team we bat and the team that beat Alabama?

Their west opponents outside of AU have been Mississippi State, Arkansas, and Ole Miss. Those are the facts.
And yet we beat LSU (that beat Alabama.) And Tennessee beat LSU and Alabama, so maybe the east was the stronger division last year?

Missouri is tougher than any team out of the west, and Tennessee would be considered as tough as the #3 team from the West. Those are facts.

I am a little more impressed with Kirby’s quick build and success at UGA.

Saban had the ESPN hype machine marketing his team before he even got on campus. I really feel ESPN and the Saban hype helped generate buzz and make it easy for him to turn it around.
