Kirby has done the same thing this year. That team is light years better than the start of the season and peaking at the perfect time. Elite coaching makes more of a difference now than ever.

ETA: That’s also why I think system coaches struggle to get over the championship hurdles.

Kirby was dealing with a frick ton of injuries to start the season as well and still managed to win...
